Sergiy is a human capital management and organizational development professional with more than 25 years of experience across international business, FMCG, energy, oil and gas, critical infrastructure, and HR consulting.

He has held senior HR leadership roles in large and complex organizations, leading HR strategy, organizational transformation, restructuring, talent systems, leadership development, internal communications, and workforce initiatives.

His work combines strategic HR judgement with practical facilitation, coaching, and implementation support. This means clients work directly with an experienced consultant who understands both the business side of HR and the realities of managing people in demanding environments.

My Story

I started my HR career in FMCG, where things move fast, managers learn quickly, and theory survives only if it works on Monday morning. Since then, I have worked across international companies, energy, oil and gas, critical infrastructure, SaaS, and consulting. My professional journey has taken me from chocolate, coffee, beer, and hypermarkets to national power grids and global HR projects. I have led restructuring, built HR functions, launched management development programmes, introduced performance systems, and supported leaders through periods of growth, crisis, war, and transformation. Somewhere along the way, I learned that most organizational problems are not solved by beautiful policies alone. They are solved when managers know how to set expectations, give feedback, build trust, make decisions, and have the conversations everyone else tries to avoid. This is why management development became one of my strongest professional interests. I believe good people management is not a luxury or a “soft” topic, but a practical business infrastructure. Through Pro HR, I help CEOs, business owners, HR leaders, and management teams build stronger managers and healthier organizations. And yes, after more than 25 years in HR, I still believe that one good conversation can sometimes save more time than ten excellent procedures.
