Sergiy Gerenko is a human capital management and organizational development professional with 25 years of experience in FMCG, energy, oil and gas, and critical infrastructure industries.

He formerly served as a member of the Board and Head of HR at Acumen International in Germany, where he managed global HR projects and led the development of an innovative HR SaaS product. Prior to that, Sergiy was the HR Director at the National Energy Company Ukrenergo in Kyiv. His earlier roles include serving as HR Director at Kyivenergo, where he led a major organizational restructuring, as well as at real,- Hypermarket (Metro Group) and Interbrew (InBev), where he implemented key HR systems and practices. He also spent part of his career at Kraft Foods International in London, where he developed global HR programs and supported the rollout of a new organizational model for manufacturing operations.

Sergiy holds an MBA from the University of Sheffield and master’s degrees in psychology and linguistics. He is also a tutor at Edinburgh Business School, where he has been teaching Human Resources Management since 2011.
